D-Day Daisy created by Gary Scholes.
As part of my work as a practising artist I have been researching the military use of camouflage and exploring the concept of visual deception with a view to changing the perception of everyday objects, spaces, animals and people. Decoy cows and horses were used during WW1 and WW2. I recently constructed a full-scale decoy tank sculpture that was exhibited at the Landmark Arts Centre in Teddington.
