Hindhead Cow created by Helen Sill
Bright orange in colour, Hindhead Cow is embellished with silhouettes of creatures native to Surrey and in particular the area surrounding the Hindhead Tunnel. Each silhouette is accompanied by it’s English and Latin name. The cow is also decorated with facts and figures about the Hindhead tunnel and significant dates relating to its’ development and opening. This cow is the embodiment of how humans and nature can co-exist in harmony. This cow represents the gateway to Surrey and the south.
