Flora, the STIHL sponsored cow, joined the parade as a floral statement at RHS Wisley. STIHL, well established in engineering and the world’s leading chainsaw brand with an 85-plus year history, commissioned artists Bella Trowbridge and Abi Charge-Thornton to create this pretty cow. The inspiration behind her design was summer planting and she has a ‘grow your own’ message. The flowers that have been digitally printed on her are Roses, Cosmos and Geum, all of which can be seen in the colourful displays at RHS Wisley.
Proceeds generated from Flora will go towards the Royal Horticultural Society, a UK based charity established to share the best in gardening. The RHS aims to enrich everyone’s lives through plants and make the UK a greener and more beautiful place.
