Sponsored by Surrey Swimming Pools, Lucha Vaca Loca was one of the 5 cows that formed a mini herd near Compton and encouraged people to explore parts of the Surrey Hills they would not usually see.
Created by artist Julian Brenninkmeijer, this is a cow with a difference and her brightly coloured rump and masked face certainly stood out against her Surrey Hills back drop over the summer months.
The proceeds from the sale of Lucha Vaca Loca will go to The Clink as well as the Surrey Hills Trust Fund. The Clink Charity’s aim is to reduce reoffending rates of ex-offenders by working in partnership with Her Majesty’s Prison Service to run projects that train and give practical skills to prisoners, to aid their rehabilitation. The Clink Restaurants allow prisoners to learn, engage with the public and take their first steps towards a new life.
