rose-at-sandownThe evening of Thursday 20th October saw the CowParade principle auction raise mooo-sive amounts of money for charity.

41 bovine beauties went under the hammer at a fabulously glamorous event at Sandown Park Racecourse. The cows were auctioned off by Ewbank’s, Surrey & Hampshire’s premier auctioneers & valuers, who took online bids prior to and during the event and did a fantastic job animating the audience and ensuring the cash started flowing.

The evening began at 6 pm and on arrival at Sandown (where the Cow Parade journey first began), guests were greeted by the beautiful view of cows grazing around the magically lit parade ring. Moo-ving on up to the Equus suite, guests enjoyed a three-course dinner, with wine, before the auction commenced at approximately 8 pm.

Raising a total of £79,000.00 the evening was a huge success with Cherry Moo hitting a whopping £20,000.00!

Net proceeds from the auction will benefit a whopping 41 charities.img_2346

Hampton Court Palace is the magnificent location of the next auction where the top 19 cows will be sold – including the elusive cycling Moo Kay and if last night’s antics are anything to go by it will be one auction you will not want to miss!
