Strata Tiles are collaborating with International design practice, Scott Brownrigg to bring their CowParade Surrey cow to the parade. Their stunning design, named ‘Heritage Cow’ is a cartographic illustration of landmarks, memories and architecture that form Surrey.
“Heritage Cow is snapshot of monuments, objects and culture in Surrey, with both Strata Tiles and Scott Brownrigg based in Guildford, it’s important that Heritage Cow is placed in memorable and family friendly spots in and around the town. We are excited to see the launch of the CowParade app, so users can follow Heritage Cow’s movement around Guildford.” – Rhiannon Jones, Marketing Manager.
Strata Tiles and Scott Brownrigg have chosen their half of net proceedings from the auction of Heritage Cow to be donated to local charity Shooting Star Chase Hospice at Loseley Park, a leading children’s hospice charity caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families.
“The CowParade coming to Surrey is a fantastic opportunity for local businesses to get involved with something out of the norm and raise money for a good cause. It’s our hope that Heritage Cow, designed in conjunction with architects Scott Brownrigg and artist Anna Whittle, will gain public support and raise awareness of our chosen charity, Shooting Star Chase.” – Jonathan Wiles, Director.
“The Guildford office of International design practice Scott Brownrigg is pleased to be supporting Cow Parade. Working in conjunction with local partners, it has been a fun way to help raise public support, awareness and vital funds for the chosen charity Shooting Star Chase Hospice”. – Scott Brownrigg.
Running from June until September 2016, CowParade Surrey will not only help to raise awareness of Surrey and the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) but also safeguard its future through donations to the Surrey Hills Trust Fund in partnership with the Community Foundation for Surrey.
